Discipleship Hour

(Sunday Morning & Wednesday Evening)

We believe that you are never too old or too young to be a disciple. As followers of Jesus we are called to be disciples or students. We try to offer an opportunity for everyone to grow in Jesus. Our groups meet Sunday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am and Wednesday night at 7:00 pm. Take a look at our classes. We are confident there is a place for you!

The Winter 2012 series of Discipleship Hour groups are currently running. Join in!

Confessing the Faith – Led by Rev. Sean Templeton

Somehow the idea has developed in the minds of many Christians that theology, (which is really just serious thinking about Christian beliefs and the attempt to express them in an ordered form), is altogether distinct from real Christianity. The purpose of this course is to assist you in seeing that a good grasp of Christian Doctrine is not only helpful, but essential for every Christian.

We will explore:
(1) How do we know who God is?
(2) What is the purpose of the Church?
(3) Why are the Sacraments important to a growing Christian?

Come be a part of this 14 week course and see.  Note: This is an advanced but not an inaccessible course of study.  We are strongly encouraging anyone in leadership or interested in being in leadership at Christ Church to enroll. The cost will be $40 for a full study notebook and textbook.

Location:  Bay Village High School – Band Room
