The Health and Wellness Ministry is a grouping of many small but important ministries. Where the Outreach and Mission ministries of Christ Church deal with caring for those who are not part of our parish, this ministry focuses on how we can care for and love one another as Christ has loved us.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
The Health and Wellness Ministry of Christ Church Westshore is a team of parishioners dedicated to the well being of God’s people in this congregation.
GUIDING SCRIPTURE:
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering
God’s grace in it’s various forms.

THE FOOD PANTRY
Led by: Mariann Biltz
This Ministry collects food to distribute to anyone in need and also prepares baskets that are delivered during the holidays. The Food Pantry of Christ Church will be located at Bay Presbyerian where we will be working together with their ministry. To serve or donate please contact Mariann Biltz who serves as our coordinator.
THE MEAL MINISTRY
This ministry seeks to provide meals for those who for any reason might need a hot meal. Please contact Kim Campbell or Lucy Morgan.
FUNERAL MINISTRY
This ministry organizes a team of parishioners to assist with a parish funeral, or funeral reception. Contact Lucy Morgan
THE BLOOD DRIVE
Health and Wellness also administers the Red Cross Blood Drive, sponsors a Health Fair, has Greeting Card Ministry (run by Doris McNeil) a Prayer Shawl Ministry (run by Lucy Morgan), and delivers Christmas stockings and Easter baskets to parishioners.
