The Knickerbocker Apartments Entrance
The idea for the Knickerbocker Apartments emerged from discussion between the churches of Bay Village who believed that there ought to be an affordable living-space for seniors in Bay Village. As a result, they banded together and built the Knickerbocker Apartment building at 21700 Knickerbocker (off of Dover Center Rd).
Christ Church Westshore (then known as St. Barnabas) was one of the founding member churches of these apartments and continues to faithfully serve the residents there by holding regular worship services the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. A Service of Holy Communion is offered once a month.
Throughout the year Christ Church also has Sweet Treats Night where the parish provides treats to the residents. Lastly, Christ Church also helps maintain the property from time to time with teams of volunteers.
