Being an Anglican is unique. Our liturgy and worship are rooted in the ancient church.  Our theology has been formed by the teachings of the church fathers, the reformers, and modern Anglican theologians like C.S. Lewis, John Stott, and J.I. Packer. While the Anglican Church separated from the Roman Catholic Church during the English Reformation, we don’t always see ourselves as fully Protestant either. We have been called the Via Media, the middle way, and there is often tension and some confusion that can be felt in this middle ground.
